I discovered Silhouetting a few years ago and it has become a passion I never expected to have. I love cutting profile portraits of people, especially children, out of black paper and mounting them on watercolor paper or card stock.

I am available to do silhouettes for weddings, parties and special events! And I now do Caricatures and portrait sketches as well! I have enjoyed doing silhouettes, caricatures and pencil portraits at festivals, historic houses, weddings, parties and many events over the last few years!  It’s so fun to create a silhouette, caricature or portrait in just a few minutes and see the excited reactions of my customers!

Check out my arts blog and my Etsy shop to see more of my work from some of these events!

I also write and illustrate children’s books. I have always loved collecting children’s books since even before I had children of my own.

I have a book for middle-school aged children that I wrote and illustrated called Babysitter Blues available as a kindle ebook on Amazon.com.

It's also available in print through One Voice Press at www.onevoicepress.com, as well as at www.barnesaandnoble.com.

I also wrote and illustrated a picture book called Kamal's Day, published by Bellwood Press, out of Wilmette, Ill. and available for purchase from www.bahaibookstore.com.
